Each vial Horiomon 5000 IU contains active substance chorionic gonadotropin (gonadotrophin, chorionic), which is obtained from the urine of pregnant women. Chorionic gonadotropin hormone is very similar in structure and action of luteinizing hormone (LH), which is responsible for stimulating the ovaries during ovulation. Chorionic gonadotropin has been needed in the final stages of maturation of the oocyte and is normally produced by the placenta during pregnancy.
What is Choriomon 5000 IU
In women Choriomon 5000 IU is used to provide the final maturation and release of the ovum at ovulation. The most often used to induce ovulation in a fixed time in the methods of in vitro fertilization. Also applicable to the treatment of ovulation problems, since it leads to the growth of the corpus luteum after removal of the ovum from the ovary.
In men Horiomon 5000 IU can be used to stimulate sperm production.
In boys is used to stimulate the development of the testes and in cases when the testicles are not descended into the scrotal sac.
